Is making peace with the establishment (the Deep State/Swamp) an important aspect of maturity?

we're in a sinking ship and have been aboard one for the past decade or so. just accept it and try and make the most out of your own personal life as best as you can. worry and focus only on the things that you can control. you cannot control politics and the red and blue clowns that run the show. realize they DO NOT represent nor do they care about us. they'd sell us out to the highest bidder at the drop of a penny.

Sorry, Kevin.  But having your own solid value system is the healthy and adult thing to do.

Deep state by definition are all the people who stay on from election to election.  All those middle managers, generals, etc.  We do not entirely wipe out ever government job and replace them every four years.  The hangers on are what was originally described as the deep state.  Nothing nefarious, just normal, and yes, only an idiot would expect us to hire all new people every four years.
