Should Trump have his presidential library in a property he rents to the government so he can overcharge and get them to pay him for life?

I'm sure Trump has thought of that.  But presidential libraries are not paid for by the govt.  They're all built with private donations.

Sounds like a Lazy Mooch strategy to me. I'm looking forward to the new head of our GSA revoking the lease on the Old Post Office on Pennsylvania Avenue.

Presidential libraries have nothing to do with government.

Such libraries are private entities and are NOT publicly funded.
