Even it has a brand new battery, it has a tune up done, new battery cables, & alternator installed?
What happens?
It's inconvenient.
And dangerous.
Are you asking WHY a car is stalling constantly?
Is this car YOUR car, or just a random question?
Which car is it???
Maybe there is a fuel flow problem?
Replace your fuel filter lest it be plugged.
it needs a tune up , fuel problem .sounds like you need a decent mechanic .
You should be noticing"You keep stopping".
So you put in a bunch of stuff..."all the wrong stuff seems kind of obvious."
It is time...Tow Truck time to visit your friendly mechanic and you splain to him your problem while he sucks back a beer and goes "Uh-huh"
>he like me have narrowed it down to FUEL PUMP. He has to probably go into the fuel tank to fix the b-itch(really car designers could not think of a better place to put the damn thing?
Old psssd off mechanic.
What happens? You keep stopping.
You've got a fuel or fuel line problem. Where did you buy the gas? Go buy a premium gas from another station & fill the tank. You probably have water in the tank.
Bad gas maybe? Would help if we knew the year and make of car.
So what the heck kind of vehicle are you talking about? What's the motor size? if a tune up was done did they clean the throttle body? It takes a good 25 miles of stop and go driving with the AC and other loads off for the idle to be relearned by the PCM after disconnecting the battery.
probably need to put some gas in it lol ...
Check the IAC valve and motor. There are YouTube videos that will show you how.
Keep throwing money at it until you find what is wrong. If it was me, I would have the fuel pump pressure tested.
Sorry you went through all that but when i expereinced that with my car (1998 Oldsmobile) had it read and it stated the mass air flow ( small part that fits on top of the engine) It running like a top now. Next time the idiot light comes on take by a part store and let them read it. Or find a new mechanic
What should have preceded all the fumbling was pulling the OBD2 trouble codes. There are several problems that could cause stalling. Just one guess is, if the cam belt slipped, trying to tune the engine would just make it worse.
I don't know. We just push buttons in the house. My son does have a manual and he goes out, starts it, lets it idle, and goes back into the house to make his lunch. Of course we have WIFI cameras showing the outside and Remington, Bushmaster, Ruger, Smith and Wesson, and Dan Wesson as backups.
