There are 3x independent cases when the device functions properly:

1. All A, B, C are good.
The probability = 0.8 x 0.7 x 0.6

2. A good, B bad, C good.
The probability = 0.8 x 0.3 x 0.6

3. A good, B good, C bad.
The probability = 0.8 x 0.7 x 0.4

So, the probability of working properly = p(1) + p(2) + p(3) = 0.704
