Are you scared of death?

I am not afraid of death because I will be in heaven, all and only because I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.  Nobody can be good enough to avoid hell.  So to avoid hell, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. It is that easy.  When a person dies, they will be in heaven or hell, and they can't get out of hell if that is where they go.  To go to heaven and not go to hell, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, without adding any of your works.  Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, who is God and who died on the cross and shed His blood to pay for all our sins, and who resurrected from the dead.  See Romans 4:5 and 1 Corinthians 15:3-4.

I'm a bit scared of getting dead.
I'm not scared of being dead.

I'm not afraid of being dead, but there are some ways I'd prefer not to die.  Like getting run over by a bus or eaten by tigers.

Not anymore because of the grace of God in Jesus Christ.

I would not want to necessarily die a painful, horrible death, but I am not afraid of it.

Christians never die. Christ paid the penalty of death so his Christians no longer have to die.


John 8:51 KJV — Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.


John 11:26 KJV — And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

Christ saved everyone from hell who will accept the free gift of eternal life by faith alone. As a Christian though, I can honestly say that yes, I'm afraid of dying, not being dead. I'm afraid of the physical pain or the panic, or the regret I might feel when my time comes. 

Not at all. I KNOW I'm going to heaven when I die (1 John 5:13).

The truth is that death leads to heaven or hell, and the only way to heaven is through faith in Jesus Christ.

The Bible is very clear that no one can earn their way to heaven since good works do not pay for sins. See Gal. 2:16, Rom. 3:23-28, 4:4-5, Eph. 2:8-9, Tit. 3:5. The only way to heaven is by believing in Jesus for His free gift of eternal life. Jesus shed His blood on the cross as the full payment for our sins. He did all the work; all He requires of us is that we believe in Him. Once you believe in Jesus Christ to save you, you are secure forever!

Because we have all sinned against a perfectly holy and righteous God, we all deserve eternal separation from God in hell (Rom. 6:23). However, God loves us so much that He sent His only Son Jesus to die on the cross as our Substitute so we don't have to go to hell. Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose from the grave three days later (1 Cor. 15:3-4). He gives eternal life freely to anyone who simply believes in Him for it. No one can be saved by doing good works. Salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone (Eph. 2:8-9).

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life" (John 6:47).

Scaring is a natural feeling of human being , then this feeling can become stable when fill it with hope of being successful in this life and the hereafter world. All lives must taste death. 

I think you become scared of death of you are aware your life is about to be stolen from you. Example; I've been physically attacked in a vehicle and unsure if I would be able to escape and feared so greatly for my life it was the most overwhelming thing Ive ever experienced. I've also been in a terrible accident to which I heard my car wrap around the pole and remember people trying to get me out of the car and being in pain and then losing consciousness. I was in greatest fear when I didnt know what the outcome of me heading toward the pole and the where the impact of the car that crashed me into the pole would be and I wondered if I feared I was about to die.
Yet, just me flat out dying just because....nope. I do not fear dying suddenly. For me it's the impending doom for knowing you are about to die.
