Why do some Christians hate Catholics?

Many object to my use of "hate." Hate can be interpreted in a strong sense to be something that a Christian should not do. I will revise the question to this, "Why do some Christians (not all, not most, but some) dislike Catholics and/or the Catholic Church to such a degree that they would answer like this one has answered: 'I don't "hate" anyone but the Catholic Church needs to be completely destroyed.'

To all who keep insisting there is no hatred or strong dislike of the Catholic Church, all you have to do is look at some of these answers:  "Catholicism,though,is indeed hateful and riddled with hypocrisy." "Catholicism changed the word of God into lies and they worship the Dragon (Satan) which gave power and strength unto the Beast (the Catholic Church)"

Based on these answers, I picked the Best Answer because it summarized the problem, and that is that Protestant preachers are teaching hatred/dislike for the Catholic Church. When I attend Catholic mass every week, we rarely if ever mention Protestants, but apparently there are some Protestant church services where the preacher goes on tirades against the Catholic Church.

The haters to whom you are referring are that way because they don't actually trust God.

Instead, they have put their trust in their false teachers who are promoting such hatred, mostly because they, also, have also been taught to hate.

I don't think evangelical Protestants generally literally hate Roman Catholics.  It's more that they consider their immortal souls to be in danger of hellfire due to what they perceive as the wayward ways of their church.  There is a secondary issue regarding authority, because it could be argued that a Roman Catholic recognises a higher secular authority than the Sovereign, and that is a bit of an issue.

If a Christian has hate in there heart then they are no Christian. Love on another.

Some of the rules Catholic follow I do not follow. I do not believe in having statues of Saints or anyone. I only follow Jesus I do not follow the Pope.

They're ignorant and/or bigoted.  Catholics ARE Christian.

Correction - some Protestant Christians hate Catholic Christians. Why? Because they know they came into existence by defecting from the Catholic Church, and are therefore desperate to believe that what they defected from is BAD. They claim to follow the Bible alone, however the Bible clearly says that Jesus Christ founded one Church, said it was to remain one, and promised that one Church the fullness of God's truth until the end of time. However, they avoid such parts of God's word, which clearly indicate that their manmade tradition of thousands of conflicting denominations exists in direct disobedience to the will of God concerning His followers, which was and still is "that they all may be ONE, even as I and My heavenly Father are ONE".

The early Catholic Church did some horrible things.  The inquisition murdered millions of innocent people as "heretics" (being anyone who disagreed with the church).  Beginning in the 15th century, a number of wars were fought between Catholics and Protestants.  In England, the wars were bitter, and the law says that Catholics are barred from the thrown.  In Northern Ireland, Protestants and Catholics fought until recently.

The reason the USA has the first amendment in its constitution is because we didn't want wars of religion here and so prohibited an official state church.

I think the verb is "fear," not "hate."

The Roman Catholic Church has spent most of its existence persecuting and lying about other religions.  In some cases, especially for Jews and Muslims, the Church has had a despicable record of lying about them and encouraging disparagement.

The Crusades were a shameful period in which they invaded Muslim lands and pillaged many innocent civilians.

They stayed silent while Hitler murdered millions of people.

The Inquisition was a crime against humanity.

They engaged in silly religious wars against Protestants.

They are infamous for sheltering and protecting priests and cardinals who are sex perverts - and there is one financial scandal after another.

They mistreat women, have silly sexual rules, and threaten less-intelligent people with stories of hell and damnation unless they toe the line.

I could go on and develop and document these and other crimes; but you get my drift.

I hope they do not. Many will evangelize Catholics because there are lots of heresies in the Catholic faith. Some even worship Mary in stead of Christ. Praying to Mary, when Mary needs Christ just as much as we do. Believing in purgatory, a place where you go to atone for your own sins. When Christ died on the cross He said tetalestay, it is finished. This word was used on the certificate of debt to the state each prisoner had in the moment that they had paid their full prise in prison. So paid in full is also a good translation. Jesus paid the entire prise for our sins. We cannot add even the slightest to that. It is all done by him. So saying you pay is a blasphemy. 
Saying these things out loud is not that we hate Catholics. We love them that is why we say the truth. We want them in heaven also. . .

Orthodoxy = the only true faith; Roman Catholics tried one cup - one spoon ritual and got sick with Bubonic plague; if heresy enters Orthodox monastery then monks/nuns will get sick with flu/tuberculosis (for instance); Orthodox churches who closed for COVID or had disposable cups/spoons are no longer brides of Christ (now they serve Satan and honor Satan's new COVID religion). Priests who were working for KGB (that is spying on people and betraying their confession) = Sergian heresy. Now, CIA and FSB (new name for KGB) don't need to have priests constantly reporting because of new technology (bugs) that allows them to listen in (and if cameras are present... to look into what people are doing)...Your phones spy on you; don't bring them to church; forgive me.
