How do you enjoy sardines?

Through my tears (and on crackers), because that was Dad's favorite snack.

Sardines with anti-pasto. That's an awesome Italian snake.

As a kid we had sardine or kippered herring sandwiches. A couple of years ago I had a sardine sandwich and realized how horrible it is.....
Fresh sardines and also anchovy are just little fish on a plate. They are good cooked many ways.

I love cooking them in red sauce and eating them with rice or noodles. they taste like tilapia almost. I have eaten them on toast with a white wine. I also like them fried with some lemon or malt vinegar. I had some fried sardine tacos in mexico really really good. Or you can be like my brother and eat it straight up with no flavoring. 

me with onions of vinegar on toast or sndwich , and some time in the fry pan , why , havent you had them , havent tried them with ketchup thou .

I will eat them if its the only thing
