I agree with you 100%. It's refreshing. He didn't have a red face and he wasn't spraying spittle while he was talking. He was calm and confident, just like in the debates. America needs the calm.

I can guarantee you there will be NO effort on the part of Democrats to meet in the middle.  As for the number of Americans who he says wants his policies,   he forgets there’s almost as many who don’t.
