What is the pressure of an ideal gas if there are 3.5 x 10 exp 23 particles in a volume of 0.099 cubic meter at a temperature of 299 K?
P = 1.459 x 10 exp -9 PaP = 1.0076 x 10 exp -17 PaP = 1.459 x 10 exp -10 PaP = 1.459 x 10 exp -19 Pa

Avogadro constant = 6.022 × 10²³ /mol

Consider the idea gas:
Pressure, P = ? Pa
Volume, V = 0.099 m³
No. of moles, n = (3.5 × 10²³)/(6.022 × 10²³) mol = 3.5/6.022 mol
Gas constant, R = 8.314 Pa m³ / (mol K)
Temperature, T = 299 K

Gas law: PV = nRT
Then, P = nRT/V

Pressure, P = (3.5/6.022) × 8.314 × 299 / 0.099 = 1.459 × 10⁵ Pa

The answer: None of the four options
