The Bibles and the Koran are antique political masterpieces that allowed rulers to be rulers. The books were never read by the masses or the rulers.
The clergy do not read them either.
It is certainly written by humans but it is not particularly wise
It incorporates human and divine wisdom.
The bible is nothing more than stories that are assertions of things that never happened. If its made up there cant be much wisdom there.
That, and more. It's the inspired Word of God.
NO!! IT IS A BOOK OF GODLY WISDOM.
"Human Wisdom" is foolishness. True Wisdom comes from God.
The Bible is Wisdom from God.
Proverbs 2:6 "For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding."
James 1:5 “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”
NO!
It's a book of God's wisdom that He gives us to accomplish HIS WILL.
The Bible is the word of God.
It is not a book of human wisdom.
The Bible is a book of Godly Wisdom, which is far loftier than man's wisdom.
For that period of time yes it was probably for many people wisdom ,but today with our advancement in science , technology ,knowledge etc. it's just a science fiction book no more and no less.
The Bible is made up of 66 small books, which were written by some 40 writers over a period of about 1,600 years. But if the Bible was written by men, how can it be “inspired of God”? Simply stated, the expression “inspired of God” means that the Source of the information in those writings is God. The Bible puts it this way: “Men spoke from God as they were moved by holy spirit.” (2 Peter 1:21) In other words, God used his invisible energizing force, holy spirit, to transmit his message to the writers of the Bible books. This can be likened to a businessman dictating a letter to his secretary. The letter’s author is, not the one doing the writing, but the one doing the dictating.
Some Bible writers actually heard God’s message conveyed audibly by an angel. Others saw visions from God. In some cases, God communicated his message in the form of dreams. While God at times allowed the writers to use their own words to record his message, at other times he gave them precise wording. In any event, human writers conveyed God’s thoughts and not their own.
How can we be sure that it was God who inspired the Bible writers? Consider three lines of evidence that build confidence in the Bible’s divine origin.
the bible is called the word of God, Jesus is the Word of God, the bible is NOT Jesus ! a man will get closer to God by reading the book of Mormon and abiding in its precepts than any other book. and yes there is wisdom is both the bible and the BoM. and yes there is the wisdom of man in the old testament and the epistles of Paul. even the red letters of the words of Jesus. but not every word in the bible is the words of God, otherwise Jesus would not have said: divide the word of God correctly...
Beliefs and experiences and encounters, not necessarily wisdom.
The Bible, also known as the Holy Scriptures, does contain many wise sayings. However, note the claim that the Bible makes for itself: “All Scripture is inspired of God.” (2 Timothy 3:16) There is much evidence to back up that claim. Consider the following:No one has ever successfully challenged the historical accuracy of the Bible. The Bible writers were honest men who wrote with openness of heart. Their candor gives their writing the clear ring of truth. The Bible has one central theme: the vindication of God’s right to rule mankind and the fulfillment of his purpose by means of his heavenly Kingdom.
Although written thousands of years ago, the Bible is free of mistaken scientific ideas that had gained wide acceptance in ancient times.Documented historical evidence proves that Bible prophecies, or predictions, have come true.

The Bible is “inspired of God.” (Read 2 Timothy 3:16.) But some may think, ‘The Bible was written by men, so how can it be from God?’ The Bible answers: “Men spoke from God as they were moved [or, guided] by holy spirit.” (2 Peter 1:21) This is similar to a businessman telling his secretary to write a letter. Who is the author of the letter? It is the businessman, not the secretary. In the same way, the Author of the Bible is God, not the men he used to write it. God guided them to write his thoughts. The Bible really is “the word of God.”—1 Thessalonians 2:13
