Why isn't the Rapture happening now? What is my answer to this question?

Because Scriptures MUST be fulfilled FIRST.

Is God a Liar? Therefore if Scriptures plainly teach that antichrist must be revealed First, then the antichrist must be revealed FIRST. If Scriptures teaches that the 3rd Temple will be rebuilt, then that Temple must be built first.

if you desire to see the Timeline of things that MUST take place first, you can find it by clicking below:

I WAS going to say that you didn't understand how a question and answer forum works, but understand that you are doing this because of cowardly blocking.

Good luck!

It's not "God" that's lying, Dave, it's the scripture that is. Or more specifically, the men who wrote the scripture lied when they told everyone that they were just taking dictation from God. They made all this stuff up, dude, and it's not our fault that you're gullible enough to believe them.

So you admit that this is not a question.

The word “antichrist” (Small a) appears in Scripture four times; all in the Epistles of John and in EVERY sense means a person who opposes the message of Christ.

In no sense is it ever intended as a person who will unite humankind to follow him/her.

The Beast in Revelation =/= “the” Antichrist

Then why didn't you post that answer in the question? Why did you ask a question to answer a question? Why?

Another reason why the so-called “rapture" hasn't happened is because Christ will come back after the 7-year Tribulation & those 7 years haven't begun yet. The 1st half will be tribulations for the ungodly, as Revelation 11 reveals, & the the 2nd half will be tribulations for the true church.

There is nothing, repeat nothing, that is a prerequisite to the Rapture. Here is what we know:

1) The "Day of the Lord" (not His "second coming", but Jesus return for His people and ensuing judgment of the world) will "come as a thief in the night" (2 Thess 5:2). That means that there will be no warning, no specific advance knowledge of the Rapture. Anything that seems to precede the Rapture is purely by inference. Only one thing that is guaranteed to occur "within a generation" of (and logically precedes) the Rapture is the restoration of Israel as a nation (parable of the fig tree, Matthew 24). But here we are talking about a time period from 0 to (possibly) 120 years that follows 1948.

2) The man of sin (antichrist) will be revealed at about the same time as the Rapture. It does not say that the antichrist has to be in power first. In fact 2 Thess 2:7-8 clearly states that the antichrist comes after "he which restrains" is removed: "For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one [Holy Spirit] who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming." Again, the Holy Spirit's restraining influence is removed and THEN the antichrist is revealed. And the Holy Spirit "restrains" through the believer. The Holy Spirit indwells the believer and (substantially) works through the believer. Thus, this is referring to the Rapture, the removal of believers from the earth. No believers. No prayer. No preaching. Little to no Holy Spirit influence and restraining.

3) The temple only needs to be in place in the middle of the tribulation for the antichrist to enter it and commit the "abomination of desolation" (Daniel 9, Matthew 24, Revelation 13). Building the temple in a few months is feasible. Therefore, the temple does NOT have to precede the Rapture.

"God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?" (Numbers 23:19).

By the way, the linked timeline has major problems. For example, it shows the "new heaven and new earth" prior to the 1000 years. Nothing further from the truth. The new heaven and new earth come after the 1000 years. The earth, the sun, the moon, the stars all are destroyed and only the earth is replaced. No moon. No sun. No stars. No ocean. Way, way different. Not refurbished. Completely different. See Isaiah 34, 2 Peter 3, and Revelation 20 and 21. Also, the timeline shows a "mid-tribulation" rapture. Again that is not supported by scripture anywhere. The antichrist, as shown before, appears AFTER the Rapture. The antichrist makes a covenant with Israel (Daniel 9) at the beginning of the seven year period (tribulation). The Apostle Paul tells the Thessalonians to be assured that they did not miss the Rapture and that they should take comfort in the knowledge that they will miss the judgment. And that they were not "called to suffer wrath". Living through the first half of the tribulation in which 50% of the world dies is hardly something to be comforted.

Now, here is an interesting statement about the Rapture: "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed" (1 Cor 15:52). Here is what we know about the Lord: He sometimes displays a sense of humor or makes curious statements. Proverbs 25:2: "It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings." Meaning, God cleverly buries His truth in His word and lets us figure it out. And it clearly states, "at the last Trump". Just saying .... If Trump gets re-elected, that is because the people have chosen a God-fearing, law and order path for the nation. If Trump is defeated and Biden wins, that shows that corruption, wickedness and lawlessness has overtaken the land. Surely, the Rapture would be close at hand. One of the conditions of the "end times" or just prior to the "Day of the Lord" is a growing lawlessness or rebellion.
