Re-draw the circuit diagram as shown in the figure below.

Equivalent resistance between D and R
= 1 / [(1/3) + (1/10)] Ω
= 2.3 Ω

Equivalent resistance between N and R
= 1 / {(1/2) + (1/2) + [1/(6 + 9 + 2.3)] Ω
= 0.9 Ω

Equivalent resistance for the whole circuit (between A and Z)
= (4 + 0.9 + 7) Ω
= 11.9 Ω

Re1 = 6+9+3//10 = 15+30/13 = 17.3 ohm 
Re2 = 2 // 2 = 1 ohm 
Re = Re1 // Re2 = 17.3*1 / 18.3 = 0.95 ohm 
Rt = 4+7+0.95 = 12 ohm with 2 sign. digits
