Should a person be afraid to die?

Fear not Those who kill the body but not the soul 

You should be afraid to die, because you will be in torments in hell. But you can easily avoid hell.  Believing in the Lord Jesus Christ means being forgiven all sins past and future, no matter what those sins are, and means going to heaven.  Death leads to heaven or hell.  The Lord Jesus Christ is God, who died on the cross and shed His blood to pay for all of our sins in full, and then Jesus was buried, and then Jesus resurrected from the dead.  Nothing you could do will ever pay for any of your sins.  Jesus already paid for all of our sins with His death on the cross and His shed blood, and then Jesus resurrected from the dead.  So the only way to get into heaven and avoid hell, is by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ, without adding any of your own works.  See Romans 4:5.  It is too late for you to be saved, after death.

Death could be around the corner for any of us and being fearful of it is only natural. It is when it affects your life that it becomes a problem, because then you are afraid of living.

Being afraid of death is irrational 

Being afraid to die is not something that's objectively good or bad. It simply is.

Most people are afraid of death because of our ignorance about two things. One - we fear the loss of all that is known. We don’t realize that nothing belongs to us, we come empty handed and we go empty handed. Therefore what is there to fear? The second fear is the fear of the unknown. What lies beyond death? This is also because of ignorance - because we think death is the end, we don't realize that death is not the end, it's just a bend; that the body will die, but the one who was alive, the Mind and Ego, the ME, is reborn in a new body based on our own actions. Heaven or hell is experienced back on earth, based on our Karma,our actions. But those who go in quest of the truth, they realize the true meaning of life, they realize that they are not even the one that is reborn, they are the Divine Soul. At death, they celebrate the thought of death because they know that death is liberation and unification with the Divine.

IT IS PERFECTLY NORMAL TO FEAR DEATH, BUT IF YOU SPENT IT TRYING FOR THE LORD JESUS TO BE GOOD, AND HAVE SINCERELY AND HUMBLY CONFESSED YOUR SINS. THEN ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY AT DEATH IS >>

JESUS I PLACE MY TRUST IN YOU, MY SAVIOR!!!

JESUS HAS PROMISED THAT HE WILL SNATCH UP HIS FAITHFUL AND WIPE AWAY EVERY TEAR FROM THEIR EYES, AND THERE WILL BE NO MORE TEMPTATIONS, PAIN, SUFFERING OR DEATH EVER AGAIN. THE LOVE AND JOY YOU WILL EXPERIENCE AT THAT MOMENT, WILL NEVER EVER BE TAKEN FROM YOU FOR ALL ETERNITY.  PROMISE'S THE LORD OUR GOD

THEY WILL SEE GOD FACE TO FACE WITH THE BEATIFIC VISION, SEE ITS MEANING HERE, AND TRY YOUR BEST TO BE GOOD AND THEN TRUST IN THE LORD>>>>

EACH ONE WHO MAKES IT TO HEAVEN WILL SEE THE FACE OF GOD
CALLED THE "BEATIFIC VISION". EVERYONE WILL SEE MORE OR LESS OF GOD, FACE TO FACE, BUT THOSE WHO SEE LESS WILL NOT BE ANY LESS HAPPY OR JEALOUS, YOU SEE IF YOU HAVE A SMALL CUP AND ITS FILLED TO OVERFLOWING, YOU WILL BE COMPLETELY SATISFIED, IF SOMEONE HAS A LARGER CUP, THEN THE SAME THING WITH THEM. EVERYONE JUST LOVES WITHIN GOD.
ACCORDING TO HOW GOOD YOU WERE OR HOW HOLY YOU WERE BEFORE DEATH THRU THE GRACE OF JESUS.

 BUT THIS WILL NOT TAKE AWAY FROM YOUR ETERNAL HAPPINESS, NO ONE CAN SEE GOD TOTALLY BECAUSE HE IS INFINITE. HE CANNOT BE ABSORBED FULLY BECAUSE OF THIS, BUT WHAT WE SEE WILL BE SO GREAT AND WITH COMPLETE LOVE THAT WE COULD NEVER POSSESS ON OUR EARTHLY TRAVELS.
IT WILL KEEP US HAPPY FOREVER AS GOD HIMSELF IS.

THIS IS A GOOD REASON TO LEARN TO LOVE GOD AND OBEY HIM IN THIS LIFE AS BEST YOU CAN!

 HE WILL REWARD YOU ACCORDING TO YOUR GOOD WORKS. NOW I AM NOT SAYING GOOD WORKS ALONE WILL GET YOU INTO HEAVEN, BUT THEY WILL FOLLOW YOU THERE WHERE GOD WILL REMEMBER EVERY LITTLE ACT OF MERCY OR KINDNESS AND LOVE THAT YOU SHOWED HIM AND TO YOUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS. REMEMBER JESUS SAID AS LONG AS YOU DID IT FOR THEM YOU DID IT FOR ME. JESUS WILL NEVER EVER FORGET WHAT YOU HAVE DONE, IN THIS VALLEY OF TEARS CALLED EARTH.

HE WOULD COME DOWN FROM HEAVEN AGAIN AND DIE ALL OVER AGAIN, JUST FOR LOVE OF US AND
NO GREATER LOVE CAN SOMEONE HAVE THAN TO LAY DOWN THEIR LIFE FOR HIS BROTHER.
THATS EXACTLY WHAT JESUS(GOD/MAN) DID FOR US

I always find it odd that Christians are supposed to believe they are going to Heaven but are scared to die whilst atheists may not be looking forward to death are not afraid of it.
