The investigation of the company was already over; the "threat" had nothing to do with it.  The reason was that the prosecutor was corrupt and the EU, the U.S. government, and nearly everyone else familiar with the situation wanted him gone.

I don't think there's any doubt, on either side, that Hunter Biden got a good job based on who his dad was.

But if getting a good-paying job based on who your dad is was actually illegal, GW Bush would never have been president, or even governor of Texas, because he'd be in prison still today!

NOT TO MENTION Don Jr, Eric, Ivanka and Jared.  (Is it still nepotism if it's an in-law?  Yes it is!)

I agree it's wrong.  But this has to be added to the already long list of serious crimes that are only crimes when a Democrat does them. Maybe you should go to an online dictionary and look up the definition of 'hypocrisy'.
