Ok, so I go to London often for holidays, I am from US and I plan to move to UK, I am 25 years old, going to be 26 and I am almost getting my bachelors degree. I study online and I have always taken online courses and no matter where I am, I can do my homework as long as I am aware of the time zone difference. I always do my homework at home but I want to gain a "living experience" in England. I live with my parents and I work at the same time to save my money for my trips to London especially I have cousins and friends in England. I go a lot, please don't judge. I love UK so much and I got back in August even though I had to go through a quarantine I normally go for a month during the summers and I go for two weeks during the winters. However, I am planning to cancel my trip to London this winter because this COVID is not going to get any better and I want to cancel to save more money to stay possibly 5 months. (Up to 6 months). I have 3 different people I know who are willing to allow me to stay and I like to book in advance this way plans don't get ruined such as on airbnb if someone else takes the spot during the time I am wanting to stay in UK. I know 2 people via airbnb 2 other people (1 a close friend and the other one a family friend) In fact I have 4 options but one of them is more expensive so I don't really know about that one, basically 3 options, but 4 honestly. I will be paying around 900 GBP per month for rent, how much should I expect to spend  groceries/month

Living experience is not much fun at the moment, better to wait a lot longer than next year.

You should postpone until the pandemic is sorted.

You are FREQUENT visitor and have friends and family there that you cannot ask about basic expenses.

I am almost getting my bachelors degree. UNIVERSITY EDUCATED.  Not that hard to look up cost of living.

Shall we all guess if you just eat First Class gourmet menu items or shop for bargains.

Groceries is just one expense. Transportation, health insurance and many other items need to be accounted for in your budget.
YES it matters if you are in a big city or a smaller place.

£40 - £50 for the basics.per week.or about £200 per month. If you have expensive tastes it can be a lot more. In particular eating meals away from home.

In summer it is usually cheaper to rent a room in a University dorm. Look around the area you plan to be for what is available . Most do not post this service online.

Doubtful Airbnb would be cheap for months and months. Only YOU know what arrangement you have for rent.

Most importantly you require a visa for visits to the U.K over 6 months. You will further be asked to demonstrate that yo have sufficient finances to fund your stay.

Depends what you eat but in general around £250 for basic food but if you are staying for up to 6 month your UK visa will want details of where you will be living and if these people earn enough to support you and they will have to be questioned.

What I find 'odd' about your question, is that your claim to visit the UK regularly. You have family and friends here, but you have to resort to asking strangers about the cost of groceries???

First you need to know whether you can stay in the UK for 5 or 6 months. Look at the UK government website to check visa etc.

I have the feeling that you are a troll and that you are deliberately trying to sound like a non-native speaker.  Your 'story' in your long rambling spiel is inconsistent.
