= 0.64 dollar/pound

(11 pages) ÷ (4 minutes)
= 2.75 pages/minute

(a) D paid $9 for 14 lb;
.....D paid $(9/14) for 1 lb;
.................$(9/14) = $0.6428571428 = $0.64 rounded to nearest hundredth of a $.;

(b) pr prints 11pg in 4min;
.....pr prints  11/4 pgs in 1 min;
ie., pr prints 2.75 pgs per min;

Regarding (a):
Answer given by poser is $1.56 per lb.;
If this is true, then 14 lb would cost $(1.56)(14) = $21.84;
This is obviously not true since 14 lb cost D only $9.
