clothes為複數名詞,可以說 many clothes, these clothes但不可說 two clothes, much clothes,就文法觀點可否再詳述.?

Clothes is the usual word for all the garments that one wears(such as shirts, trousers, dresses) and these are made from various kinds of cloth or material(wool and cotton) Some nouns are always plural---clothes--shorts--trousers--pants--pyjamas

Clothing n.is the garments, such as trousers, dresses, shirts, etc. worn together on different parts of the body.eg:-She got warm winter clothing in winter.

many用於可數的東西 - 雖然clothes是指歸納為衣服類的東西，但這物件總算是可以一件一件地數出來而總合來的，因此用many而不是much。

由於clothes是一個總體的代表，所以就算算作是"可數"，但當要表達實際數量時(one/two/three..)的話，便會/需要改變數數的用詞，例如不會/不能說two clothes，但英語人會說two pieces of clothing代表"兩件衣物"，clothing這用詞的主意是"用作蔽物衣物"，而clothes是指衫褲等等衣服類。
