Atomic number of helium, Z = 2
Rydberg constant, R = 1.097 × 10⁷ m⁻¹ = 1.097 × 10⁻² nm⁻¹
n₂ = 3 to n₁ = 2

Rydberg equation: 1/λ = RZ² [(1/n₁²) - (1/n₂²)]
Then, λ = 1 / {RZ² [(1/n₁²) - (1/n₂²)]}

Wavelength, λ
= 1 / {1.097 × 10⁻² × 2² × [(1/2²) - (1/3²)] nm
= 164.1 nm
