How would the United States of America look like today if it was never colonized?

It would have been colonized by the next guy.

For a start - it would not be called the United States of America.

And there is no way that only the area of the USA would not have been colonised when the rest of the Americas, North and South and the Caribbean, were colonised extensively by Europeans, starting nearly 300 years before the USA came into existence.

If English/British people had not colonised the eastern seaboard and then worked slowly westwards, the Spanish area in the southern part of the USA would have remained Spanish for much longer, and that applies also to the central area as claimed by the French, and sold to the recently-formed USA in 1803.

If the whole of the Americas had not been discovered by western Europeans for another, shall we say, 200 years, then things would have been different again.

I cannot imagine the Americas not being discovered by western Europeans by the very early 1700s, even if Columbus had not set out from Spain in 1492.

In fact, Russians explored and somewhat occupied what is now Alaska in the early 1700s, and that area was sold to the USA in 1867 by the Russians. Look at a map and see that Alaska is very close to Russia.

The other possibility is that the Chinese could have sailed across the Pacific and landed on the west coast of North America about 50 years before Columbus sighted the east coast. So explorers across North America might have found a large well-established Chinese colony in what is now Oregon or California or Mexico, or in all three and further.  Imagine the 'Heavenly Sunset Bridge' in Shanghanfrisco!

It would be beautiful and clean with abundant natural resources because the indigenous peoples, (Indians/native tribes), respected and appreciated the land and took very good care of it.

Hard to imagine, because it would be so pristine that it would be a big fat target for some country to take over.

Without people, there would be the Redwood forest stretching nearly unbroken on the west coast, from Mexico to Canada.  There would be a lot more forest in the midwest, too, as opposed to prarie.  Bison, maybe even wild camels and mammoths, would wander through the northern regions.  Flocks of a billion passenger pigeons would still darken the skies at times.

United States region wasn’t where most of the Native Americans were, millions lived in Central and South America. Only a couple of million in North America. Low population, and Native Americans migrated around a lot. They had different villages for the winter and summer. The US region would have stayed mostly unsettled. Would the Native American tribes here have become more advanced? Probably not, though certainly possible give or take in a few hundred years. They did not advance as quickly like the Europeans or their Southern counterparts because they were nomadic. Many of the tribes also practiced slavery too, before colonists arrived. 

I am answering this question in the assumption that the US region was never colonized at all by anyone, British French Spanish Dutch etc.

europeans left prior to the seventeen hundreds due to diease and hard ship. or they all died off.

africa was colonized since they didnt have to cross oceans and could walk there.

the last attempted bit of colonial expasion into amrica by europeans were the british driven out by the us by washington.

Sorry the only 'colonials' are in story books.

Everyone would either be dead or speaking Russian.
