Refer to the figure below.The weight of the block is resolved into two components as shown.
Take g = 9.8 m/s²
Along the direction of the slope:
Reading of the spring scale, T
= mg sin30°
= 3 × 9.8 × sin30° N
= 14.7 N
(or 1.5 kgf)
