英單問題:為甚麼沒有辦法把單字和他的意思連結起來呢??        英文單字本身我能記得起他的發音也拼得出來，但是就是沒辦法把單字的意思背起來...        請問各位大大有沒有甚麼方法能有效地記起單字的意思呢??(圖像記憶好像不適用於有些抽象的單字欸) 謝謝~~?

單字和他的意思只能在閱讀句子時去聊解在情境中的意思.而不能以字典上所說的中文對應詞彙來記憶.
所以"背字義"是沒有用的.多閱讀,聊解後不去背,就是唯一正道.

1，我用簡單的解釋，每種語言文字都有其脈絡可循，中文分象形(鳥，馬等)，會意(二字組合成一字例武)指示，形聲(即能表意又能表音例江河)，轉注等，而英文分字首，字根，字尾三部份，例如prepare其中pre就是字首 pare是字根，字首pre(預先)有prewar,pre-installed,pre-season 等，而post(之後)有postwar,post-installed,post-season等，字根brevity/brief (與短有關)有abbreviation,brief等，字尾則與詞性有關，有attrative(ive形容詞)，attraction(ion名詞)，所以可與一反三，看到一個生字則可粗略知其意及詞性了。
2，中文解釋多了，反正語言細究能找到源頭最重要，英文也有摻雜其他如希臘文等，知道就好了

There's no way to link a word to what it means. English single word itself I can remember its pronunciation also spelling out the word. But there is no way to put the meaning of a single word into its meaning and/or sentence(in grammar contains a subject and a verb) for Wang?!

(1)If you Wang try learn the Word building--Word beginnings:-eg:-super--->superstar:-a very famous and popular person--eg:-then, Wang is a very famous and popular person.
(2)If you Wang try hard to learn the Word endings:-eg:-ward--->backward:-directed toward the back, the beginning, or the past:-eg:-then,Wang is going toward the back of the book backward ?! Usage is that some abstract parts of words have different abstract meanings Try consult a dictionary.
