19. Cleo measures the thickness of 500 pieces of A4 paper as 48 mm and the relative error is 1/240. lf the actual thickness of each piece of paper is x mm, find the possible range of x.

Absolute error of the thickness of 500 pieces= 48mm × 1/240 = 0.2mm
The thickness of each piece
= (48±0,2mm) ÷ 500
= 0.096±0.0004mm
∴ The possible range of x is 0.0956～0.0964 (mm).
