(3x+2)(x-1)-2 = 3x^2 +(2-3)x - 2 - 2= 3x^2 - x - 4 = (x+1)(3x-4)
(3y+8)(y+1) - 2 = [3(y+2)+2][(y+2)-1] - 2
=[(y+2)+1][3(y+2)-4] = (y+3)(3y+2)
