How many milliliters will 9.800 moles of Hg occupy at a given temperature, given that the density at this temperature is 13.56 g/mL?
 Express your answer with the correct number of significant figures. Express your answer with the correct number of significant figures.

Can someone explain how to do the conversion.

Molar mass of Hg = 200.6 g/mol
Mass of the Hg = (9.800 mol) × (200.6 g/mol) = 1966 g
Volume of the Hg = (1966 g) / (13.56 g/mL) = 145.0 mL

====
OR:
(9.800 mol Hg) × (200.6 g Hg / 1 mol Hg) × (1 mL / 13.56 g Hg)
= 145.0 mL Hg

density = mass / volume
ρ = m/V ..............(1)

Molar mass = mass/ moles
M = m/n  ...(2)

from (1) and (2)
V = m/ρ = (M * n)/ρ = (200.59 * 9.800)/13.56 = 145.0 mL
