The only thing I miss about childhood is my old schoolfriends and Christmas time.

I do somewhat miss it, but I can't go back, so I try not to grieve.   We had the best time to grown up in, really.   My dad used to say that these were the last of the Golden Ages.   I thought he was just rambling in his thinking, but it turns out he was right.

Not really .  I had to live with my whisky drinking step-father and be polite and grateful to him . Meh . I do not make any assumptions about children living their best years  .
