any number ( except zero ) which ends in a 0 is divisible by 10.
2020-08-21 10:57 pm
110 ÷ 10
= (11 × 10) ÷ 10
= 11

Since 11 is an integer and the remainder is 0, 110 is divisible by 10.

Because when you divide 110 by 10, you have no remainder.
2020-08-22 8:29 am
Because you can factor a 10 out of 110:

110 = 11 * 10
2020-08-22 6:36 am
Because: 10+10+10+10+10+10+10+10+10+10+10=110
2020-08-21 10:55 pm
110 = 11 * 10.
11 * 10 is divisible by 10.

because 110 is multiple by 10..
2020-08-23 1:50 am
Why not?
Its divisible by 5 and 2.5 too.
And 11!
2020-08-23 8:41 am
because its multiplyable by 11 times 10 .

You can divide every number by every number except dividing by 0, which is not possible. But for the rest you can take every number and divide it with another.

what you need to learn is what 'remainder' is.
2020-08-23 6:55 pm
Because all numbers are divisible by any number but zero.
2020-08-28 8:46 am
Because there is 11 10's in 110. 11*10=110. Simple
2020-08-26 5:23 pm
Because 10(11) = 110.

Approach 1. Dividing numbers.
Approach 2. Integer numbers prime factorization

Approach 1. Dividing numbers:

110 is divisible by 10, if there is an integer 'n' such that 110 = 'n' × 10.

Notice that dividing our numbers leaves no remainder:

110 ÷ 10 = 11 + 0;
-------------------------------------------------
So, 110 = 11 × 10;
-------------------------------------------------
So, 110 is divisible by 10;
------------------------------------------------
10 is called a divisor of 110.
------------------------------------------------
110 is divisible by 10: 10 | 110

Approach 2. Integer numbers prime factorization

110 = 2 x 5 x 11;
-----------------------------------------------
10 = 2 x 5;
-----------------------------------------------
110 has all the prime factors of the number 10;
-----------------------------------------------
110 is divisible by 10;
----------------------------------------------
110 is divisible by 10: 10 | 110
2020-08-25 10:22 pm
110=100+10=10(10)+10=11(10)
=>110 is the sum of eleven "10"
=>110 can be divided into eleven
parts each of which equals a quantity of "10".
Thus , 110 is divisible by 10.

11 is divisible by 1  Then 110 is divisible by 10

Because it wants to!

This has got to be the dumbest question yet.

Except zero , any number is divisible by 10 , whether it is positive or negative !
If it is  is multiple of 10 , the answer wil lbe whole number , else the answer will be a fraction  !

All multiples of 10 are divisible by 10.
2020-08-23 12:22 am
That is just one of the many wonderful mysteries of the universe.

110 = 10*11. 10 is divisible by 10. Therefore 10*11 is divisible by 10. DuuuuuuuH!!!
2020-08-22 5:59 am
Because both are even multiples of 10.

in a positional number system, each digit, except the last one, denotes a multiple of a power of the base. The rightmost digit is less than the base.

In base 10, the next to last digit is a multiple of 10. The previous is a multiple of 100 and so on. Therefore everything but the last digit is a multiple of 10. For a number to be a multiple of 10, the last digit must be zero. Otherwise the remainder on dividing by 10 would be that non zero digit.

In other words a number is a multiple of 10, hence divisible by 10 if and only if the last digit is zero.

Since it is a multiple of 10.

If your numerator and denominator end in zeros you can shift to the right until all zeros are gone

44000 / 100
shift
4400 / 10
shift
440 / 1
440

For your question
110 / 10
shift
11 / 1
11

All decimal numbers ending in 0 and divisible by 10.
2020-08-22 12:07 am
Simplest answer: Because it's a multiple of 10. 110 = 11 X 10.

You can easily tell it's divisible by 10 because it ends in a 0.
E.g., and in general,
abcd0 = abcd X 10
2020-08-21 10:56 pm
Because it takes eleven tens to make 110. You're a Biden supporter, aren't you?
2020-08-22 8:40 am
It is not evenly divided if you think about it
