If a DNA sample has a concentration of 400mg per mL, how much DNA is in 250 microliter
回答 (3)
Mass of DNA
= (400 mg/mL) × (250 μL)
= (400 mg/mL) × (250/1000 mL)
= 100 mg
use that dimensional analysis you've been studying lately!
.. 250 μ L.. .... . 1 mL.. .. 400mg
---- ---- ---- x ----- ---- x ---- ----- = 100 mg
.. .. . 1.. .. .. . 10³ μ L.. .. 1 mL
which you calc by entering
.. 250 / 1e3 * 400 =
in your calculator.
250 microliter x .001ml/microliter= .25 ml
.25ml x 400mg/ml= 100 mg
hence, 100mg DNA sample in 250 microliter.
