Did Yahoo shutting down comments open up the doors for increased trolls on the Yahoo!Answers forum?

The amount of ridiculous questions on here from folks that you can tell are not from the US and asking polarizing questions (both pretending to be from the right and left) are completely absurd.

It’s much harder to call people on their BS without comments. When people post outright lies, it’s nice to be able to say that. It’s a system of weeding out the bad answers. Now, we just have to let the Russian trolls lie constantly and we can’t call them on it. Yahoo is only making things worse.

Not really. The level of inappropriate questions posted isn't affected by whether or not users may comment on each other's answer (and would not be any different if Comments were still active). DO report violations when you see them.
