Why can you not select the category you want your question to appear under? The present system is utter plop?

Yeah, click on edit then edit catagory.

You can. If your question appears in a category you didn't mean it to you can quickly "edit category" after you've posted it.

easiest way is to go to the correct category, then ask your question ! ..........otherwise it's pretty sketchy
