How do I solve this?
Find the area of triangle ABC with the given parts. Round to one decimal place.
A = 34°40'
b = 16.8 m
c = 11.7 m
回答 (2)
Area of ΔABC
= (1/2) b c sin(A)
= (1/2) × 16.8 × 11.7 × sin(34°40') m²
= 55.9 m²
If you have 2 sides and the angle between them, then the area is:
(1/2) * s[1] * s[2] * sin(T)
(1/2) * 16.8 * 11.7 * sin(34 degrees 40 minutes)
34 degrees 40 minutes =>
34 degrees + 40/60 degrees =>
34 + 2/3 degrees =>
(34 * 3 + 2) / 3 degrees =>
104/3 degrees
(1/2) * 16.8 * 11.7 * sin(104/3 degrees)
