“Tattoos themselves are morally neutral, but the choice of tattoo is what can make it immoral (sacreligious imagery, upside down crosses, images of devils, etc)

Think of it as putting on a piece of clothing. What you choose to wear can be immoral, provocative, and irreligious“

Tattoos are not sin but I guess that they can do some spiritual changes in your life. These changes may be for bad or good.

Spirits are separate elements. A human being during his/her lifetime is living with many spirits which have joined one by one since birth. They are knowledge, skills, feelings, emotions, interests and everything. These spirits are your consciousnesses and memories. Even thoughts are not your own. For example, when you want to take a decision on a subject, one after another the spirits think and you just listen, choose or reject the ideas which they transmit to your mind through your brain in the form of thoughts. Brain is just a media to connect the spirits to your mind. A mind is just a computer's mind. A mind is you. After the destruction of a computer completely you will not get it's mind. The same is the case with the human beings.  A human being doesn't have a spiritual body. Soul is nothing but an energy needed for the functionality of a body. It is not a spirit or anything else. A body's functionality is based on the auto mechanism.  After death all spirits which accompanied a person quit and go to different places searching new bodies. No one lives in any form after death. All human beings are just robots made of flesh and bones and toys of the spirits for their games.

A tattoo may bring a new spirit to a human's side. If this spirit is bad, he cannot escape from it so easily because tattoos cannot be removed so easily. Sometimes one of the human's own spirits may like it and consider as it's favorable one. If this spirit is not his favorable spirit then he has to face the troubles. There will be always at least one or two negative forces (spirits) with a human being. Sometimes certain activities of a human being may give strength to these negative forces.

Your body is the Temple of God because if you are a Christian, the Holy Spirit dwells in you. What one has to ask themself, does a tattoo Glorify God or not.

1 Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

I don't have a tattoo, but I have no problem standing next to a tattooed brother in Christ in worship.  BTW, there are A LOT of preachers who have tattoos.  If God doesn't have a problem, why should I?

The sin of vanity (and foolishness)

Job 35:13 KJV — Surely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it.
