Because I am an atheist.

Atheist really, not one of those atheists who support Islam ...

Well, there are a number of reasons.

1) Their false, fabricated history that is easily disproved using their own historical documents and the historical evidence as a whole.

2) Their works (fruits) that expose them as false Christianity.

There are more reasons, but this is sufficient.

I am a Catholic. Why should I consider becoming a Christian?

To many Catholics, the terms “Christian” and “Protestant” are synonymous. With all that said, the intent of this article is that Catholics would study what the Bible says about being a Christian and would perhaps consider that the Catholic faith is not the best representation of what the Bible describes. As a background, please read our article on “What is a Christian?

Because in the Great Schism of 1054 the bishop of the West broke away from the Christian Church founded at Pentecost.  The four remaining bishops -- Alexandria, Antioch, Constantinople, Jerusalem -- continued as authorities in the newly-named Orthodox Christian Church.

My mum's family are Catholics. I was baptised as a Catholic at birth, but didn't get a communion - my parents' choice. Mum insists communions aren't really that great these days and says it's not worth it. I'm Catholic in my heart.

I don’t worship Mary, the trinity is not supported by scripture, the scripture did not forbid the disciples to marry 1 Cor.7: 9. I don’t worship statues

I always wonder why not be a catholic. All the buildings and artwork. Looks almost Heavenly,
But they use statues to focus on Jesus and Mary. God said thou shalt not make any graven image,  or likeness of anything that is in heaven above. Or that is in the earth benearth, or that is waters beneath the earth.... Read is Deuteronomy 5:8-10
Before that it speak of no Gods before me. In Deuteronomy 5:7.
I so only see Mary as his mother or as God's handmaiden. She would not like it if you focus on her and not her son. Like in John 2:4-5 Jesus gift of wine was not apart of his ministry. But it reflects his mother's authority. By her saying what so ever he saith unto you, do it. Was not for people to go through her to him. But for us to follow Jesus. As John 14:6 ... I am the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me.
Jesus even called her woman and not mother.
Now in Revelation 17 there are so much information about this figure. But I'm not sure about it but it so seem like it describes the Catholic church.

I want to have a strong relationship with the Lord and savior. Not focus on works and religon.

But in all Christian faith we all love Jesus Christ. God bless.

I was brought up by parents who had converted to a small American religious group that ruled their lives. That's what I grew up to believe and to follow, but God had other ideas! In my mid-20s He raised up Christians who got me thinking and double-checking the biblical interpretations of that group. After 2 year's study, I left it and went to a Protestant group. I'd learned a lot from Catholicism, though, studying some of their books and explanations, but I could see similar cult-control-tactics with Catholicism. At the end of the day, I saw that despite similarities with basic doctrines held by all Christians the world over, Catholicism added to the biblical gospel (good news) and the Bible warns that anyone so corrupting it is 'anathema' (accursed). I'm not a Catholic because I believe the word of God (the Bible) has greater authority than popes or traditions.

As a matter of fact, I am. Why would I be a member of any manmade church when I can be a member of the one Church Jesus Christ founded, to which He promised the fullness of God's truth? You really have to wonder when Protestants claim the Catholic Church is false, which of course would mean they are just an offshoot of a false church.
