I know a man who died and was brought back to life. He told me that he came out of his body and was watching doctors work on him. He then saw a light in the far distance. The light started getting closer(in his words) then was coming really fast. Once he got to the light, he said that he felt such peace and acceptance. Then he was resuscitated by the doctors. He told me that death doesn't scare him anymore.

The Bible is a joke.
It wouldn't know the truth from a landfill on Mars.

Our souls are, but our bodies wait for judgement day

It depends on who you ask.

There are nearly as many interpretations of biblical myths as there are 'Christians'.

You have a skewed understanding of the word "resurrected" which has to do with being made back into a condition where you are able to stand again with a body.

Those in heaven do not have such "bodies."

In the Bible, just a very few individuals were 'caught up' into Heaven - Enoch (read Genesis 5:21-24 where it only says 'God took him away'.) Moses - God told him where, exactly, to stand on Mount Nebo for his death - alone - but despite the Bible saying there was where he would be "gathered to his people", his people could not find his body, for God buried Moses. The inference is that Moses' spirit was gathered to his people who had predeceased him - see Ecclesiastes 12:6-7. Elijah was caught up in a heavenly whirlwind, witnessed by Elisha. Both of them knew that would be the day of his death. Like Moses, Elijah's body could not be found thought the exact spot was known. Read 2 Kings ch. 2.

Those were rare exceptions before Jesus opened up Heaven for all who would belong to Him by faith. Until Jesus was resurrected, nobody could get into Heaven.  Even the repentant thief to whom Jesus promised paradise, could not have gone to Heaven before Jesus opened Heaven up. So, 'paradise' may be a sort-of ante-room to Heaven proper; on the edges of it. This fits in with Jesus speaking of Lazarus the beggar dying and finding himself in "the bosom of Abraham" - where faithful Jews expected to be received after death. Jesus did NOT say Lazarus found himself in Heaven - again, because He had not yet opened Heaven up. He also spoke of a rich man dying and finding himself in torments in hell - Read Luke ch. 16, last half.

No way shall "all dead people go to heaven at once" (on the Day of Resurrection & Judgment). No impure, unclean or unholy thing is allowed into Heaven - the Bible is clear. Where the throne of judgment will be is not clearly stated in Revelation ch. 20 but do read the chapter to learn what is going to happen and where an awful lot of people are going to end up - NOT in Heaven.

There is what is called the Particular
judgement at the moment of death. Each person will face Christ and He will judge that person and then they get sentenced to heaven or hell. Their soul will immediately go there. The body is separated from the soul (obviously the body is in the ground at this point)

Then at the end of the world is the General Judgement. The General Judgement is when Christ returns at His second coming at the end of the world, everyone
is ressurrected. At this point the persons soul will be reunited with their body and then they will be cast into hell with their body or go to heaven with their body
