Why do news articles on Yahoo home page no longer allow for comments? Can't we have opinions?

Like all dictatorships, Verizon/Yahoo is censoring free speech. And NO, you CAN'T have opinions in dictatorships. 🙄

I believe Yahoo comments have been stopped until after the 2020 election. I no longer read Yahoo news articles.
