i m not sure about exact solution please help me out?

From this modified diagram, get
14V+Va=26V=>Va=12V.
26V+7V+Vb=45V=>Vb=12V.

a)
Voltage = (26 - 14) V = 12 V

b)
Voltage = (45 - 7 - 26) V = 12 V

Va=26-14=12v
Vb=45-7-26=12v

b = 45–7–26= 12 volts
a = 26–14 = 12 volts

The sum of the voltages in a complete circuit equal zero.  Start with the circuit on the right. 26 + 7 + b = 45 volts (the battery voltage).  

Now that you know b voltage, do it again for the circuit around the left side and calculate a. 

b + a + 14 + 7 = 45 volts. 

(I prefer to explain and help, not just give you the answers)

I believe if there is 26v in parallel, then 14+a must be 26v as well
So 12v
