字詞本身並不能完全發揮其表面的意思, 更重要的取決於閣下的態度/語氣/表情等等, 說法很多, 但在表達意願上, 大概仍然有從弱到強的差別 (非絕對):
"可以一看" 的客套話

"願意一看" 的表示
I like to take a look at your work, if possible.
"真的想看" 的邀約
Would you show your work to me, when it suits you?

對話中"有機會的話"在英語句式中會放在句後/尾，因為重點是表示你"想看"的意願。因此我直譯以下：
