Is the BLM movement making themselves look really bad with all the protests?

Yes, the BLM movement looks really bad, but they aren’t protests.  They are violent riots, vandalism, theft, carnage.  Looting and burning.  BLM = Burn, Loot, Murder

Most of them are criminals anyway I don't see how they could look any worse.

BLM is looking bad these days, BUT! BLM and the George Floyd death has been commandeered by the opportunistic ANTIFA movement which has an agenda of overthrowing the US Government. BLM got into bed with them and now it's clear that BLM does not have racial equality on their schedule. 

Only the ones looting. Not the peaceful protests. 

In unity there is strength, T.O.  Study all of the new awareness and positive changes being made in response to the two months of mostly peaceful nationwide and even worldwide Black Lives Matter movement's demonstrations, and therein you will find the best answer to your question.  

My 26-year-old Caucasian daughter has participated in three of the demonstrations, one of them to highlight the systemic ongoing injustices within the state's prison populations.  That seems worthwhile to me. How about to you?  

The time is ripe for the remaining BLM protestors to take the movement up a notch to a higher level---like running for local, state, and federal offices; boycotting companies that back white supremacist causes; lobbying to achieve long-needed changes in our nation's justice system(s), and so on. My advice for the stragglers of the BLM protests: Don't stay to long at the fair, my friends. You have the world's attention, so now put it to good use by being part of the progressive changes.  

They make themselves look bad when they only care about 2% of the killings of Black people, those killed by the police. They couldn't care less about the 98% of Black who are killed by other Blacks.
