the body performs many function which generate heat (involve transfer from stored chemical energy to heat and mechanical energy and other energy forms), so in order to maintain the constant internal temperature, heat has to be emitted from the body or the body temp will rise.  When in ambient air at or above the nominal ideal body temperature, this becomes a serious problem for the body, actually.  The body is generally best suited for exposure to ambient temperatures that are several degrees below the body temperature.  It is how it can avoid overheating.

The body has to get rid of its excess heat.  The ideal system is the one where the outflow is about equal to the rate of internal generation (which varies according the what activity the body is performing), and that ideal temp tends to be somewhere in the mid to upper twenties C.

I'll be quite honest here and say that I find 30C to be too warm for me. especially if it is humid.

Why should it not ? There is a heat exchange with the environment, of course, and this means that the body must be properly fed
