Not 'teach' exactly, it just uses language that suggest that the writers thought it was flat instead of spherical. Why would that surprise you though, given that those writers were barely literate, iron-age clerics?

Like everything biblical, it depends entirely upon who you ask.

No it does not, though some misinterpretations of the Bible by fundamentalist Protestants may say so.

No, the Bible doesn't “teach“ anything at all connected to geography or science. It is a religious book.

Parts of the Bible make it clear that those who wrote it believed that the Earth was flat - that's because, in those days, everyone thought that.

The Bible is meant to be used basically for spiritual guidance and not as a geography or science textbook.

It does describe the earth as a circle. circles are flat. Globes are not.

The Bible does not state that the earth is flat, rather it states the earth is round like a circle.

Isaiah 40:22 “It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:”

THE EARTH IS NOT FLAT

The Old Testament seems to talk about a circle as one would see the horizon with a dome. That's what they saw, so that's what they wrote.

NO, it does not.   No Where in the Bible does it say the Earth is Flat.
There are verses in the Bible that can be mis-inturperted to read that way.
