No.In fact: the idea of "earth = planet" is not found in the Bible.
Instead we have
- earth = soil
- earth = land (as opposed to sky and sea)
- earth = territory
etc.

No. It states the scientific knowledge of the time when it was thought that the Earth was a disc shaped. Don't blame the Bible or science because primitive peoples had primitive concepts of science.
