And about how long ago? I've heard anywhere from 3,500 to 5,000 years ago.

There is no Judeo-Christian god. The Jewish God is not part of a Trinity.
No one knows the details for sure, but Abraham supposedly is from what is now southern Iraq and lived about 3900 years ago.
God never "originated". He has always existed. However, human recognition of Him originated in Judaism.
Not that long ago. Earliest Jewish writings are from around 1300 BCE. Christianity is only about 1600 years old.
With humans: In the Middle East, 6000 years ago, about 4000 BC.
God is eternal and immortal so he has no place or time of origin.
