No more front license plates needed in Ohio as of 7/1/2020..good thing or not ?
As of July 1, 2020, Ohio registered vehicles will no longer be required to have front license plates. No fee reduction for new registrations getting only one plate. If you are an Ohio driver, will you remove your front plate ? Why or why not ? Police much prefer you KEEP FRONT PLATE for ease of identification.

That's great news! Now you can install a winch on the front of your Jeep and not worry about where to put the stupid license plate!
It's neither good nor bad. It is just as it is.
I live in PA. As far back as 1960 we have only had rear license plates. The front plate and holder is one less thing to get damaged.
Your initial registration fee is going to be the same, whether your state issues one plate or two plates.
Police don't prefer that you keep your front plate, for ease of identification. Almost every time you're stopped by police for a traffic violation when you're driving, the police car has approached you from the rear. The policeman was looking at your REAR license plate.
I think it's a good way to evade from paying the tolls.
Not! It is a big aid to law enforcement!
