Nope. Free will! Anyone? Just me?
Revenge doesn't belong to anyone, since it is ungodly. God's response to hurt is forgiveness, not revenge.
Yes, "Vengeance is mine saith the Lord."
Yes! Romans 12:19 says: "Do not avenge yourselves, beloved, but yield place to the wrath; for it is written: “‘Vengeance is mine; I will repay,’ says Yahweh.”
The urge to get even is deep-seated, true Christians resist giving in to it. Rather, they strive to follow the apostle Paul’s admonition: “Return evil for evil to no one.” Romans 12:17. Romans chapter 12 shows that refraining from retaliation is the right, the loving, and the modest course to follow. Paul gives another compelling reason why we should not retaliate; it is the modest course to follow. He states: “Do not avenge yourselves, beloved, but yield place to the wrath; for it is written: ‘Vengeance is mine; I will repay, says Jehovah.’” Romans 12:19 A Christian who tries to take revenge is presumptuous. He claims for himself a role that belongs to God. Matthew 7:1 Moreover, by taking matters into his own hands, he shows a lack of faith in Jehovah’s assurance: “I will repay.” In contrast, true Christians trust that Jehovah will “cause justice to be done for his chosen ones.” Luke 18:7, 8; 2 Thessalonians 1:6-8 They modestly leave the avenging of wrong in God’s hands. Jeremiah 30:23, 24; Romans 1:18. Yes, I believe revenge belongs to God and not to our self. It is righteous on our part to wait on him to take care of all matters according to the scriptures.

Revenge is something humans seek when they feel they have been wronged. It leads to feuds between families, tribes and nations that can last centuries, with massive bloodshed and hatred. God, however, is righteous in all His ways so that when He finally acts in vengeance, those He acts against have had plenty time and opportunity to repent, which would spare them His vengeance. We do well to heed God's word, "Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge... but love your neighbor as yourself." (Leviticus 19:18).
"Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath for.. 'I will repay' says the Lord. On the contrary, 'If your enemy is hungry, feed him' if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this you will heap burning coals on his head'. Do not overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." (Romans 12:17-21)
Additionally, under inspiration the apostle Paul wrote: “Do not avenge yourselves, . . . for it is written: ‘Vengeance is mine; I will repay,’ says Jehovah.” (Romans 12:19) Paul was quoting what God had stated centuries earlier as recorded at Leviticus 19:18 and Deuteronomy 32:35.
your thinking that revenge is ONLY for G-d worsens everything... G-d made it clear. Not all things are answered by G-d NOW & Justice is something if you thought is nothing.. Can you not revenge one who slept w/ your wife? If you can forgive, I am against it for myself & those I like/love.. I don't say you kill if are not Jew, but Law must help victims & be against those doing it..
LEAVE vengeance on to ME says the LORD thy GOD.
No the God I believe in is a God of Love
