The World will not end, once again.
Easy. A joker called Paolo Tagaloguin invented a story that was meant to fool people (it is called a hoax = a lie told by someone who knows it is a lie, for the purpose of fooling other people).
He took information from the Big 2012 Hoax (the end-of-the-world of December 2012) and added the upcoming eclipse to it.
The article that made Paolo's "prediction" popular was published in The Sun around June 16. The Sun is a British tabloid that cares more about sensationalism than about the truth (it sells more papers). However, Paolo's story is so fake that even The Sun removed it from its Web site.
The story contained many things that were already known to be fake, even back in 2012. For example, he uses the planet Nibiru in his "prediction". Planet Nibiru is a fictitious planet (invented for a fiction story back in the late 1960s). Planet Nibiru is "real" only when you are reading the story "The Twelfth Planet" by Z. Sitchin. Just like planet Tatooine is "real" when you read the Star Wars saga (or watch a movie). Once you close the books, they disappear.
Paolo, like the authors of the Big 2012 Hoax, confuses the properties of Nibiru with those of the fake "Planet X", invented for another hoax: the end-or-the-world of May 2003.
The Big 2012 Hoax itself was not that big... until Roland Emmerich used it for the promotion of his movie "2012" (which, despite the title, was more based on the 2003 hoax).
There are many end-of-the-world hoaxes every year. Some people were very "good" at predicting the end-of-the-world many times (Harold Camping and Ronald Weinland come to mind). Strangely enough, their followers kept believing them year after year.
The apocalypse has been prophesied for thousands of years.
And all of them have been stunningly wrong.
This one is no different.

So, how'd that Doomsday thing work out for ya?
-----------------
"Doomsday" has been predicted thousands of times throughout history. It's always wrong.
This example is no different.
This is simply another revision of the "2012 Mayan Apocalypse" BS.
Its nonsense, its just the newest nutjob hoax since the big one of 2012.
It didn't happen. So there was no need for you to have worried about it. So now you know how to recognize nonsense when you see it.
"Freaking out about it."
Hello, Chicken Little.
Total B.S. It is just another HOAX. There is nothing special about 21 June except the position of the Sun. Solstice and an Eclipse.
Update. It is now 21 June and we are still here.
