Math Problem?

The answer for this problem is (b).
72/4=18. 73 is a. 74th term is b.
Here's what I did. From left to right I counted 1,2,3,4 and stopped, immediately
realizing that numbers that were multiples of 4 would land in the box with the downward pointing arrow. So 72 would be in that box and 74 would be 2 boxes
further which would put it in the box with the upward pointing arrow.
This is about patterns; in this case the repeat is every 4, so,
1, 2, 3, 4
5, 6, 7, 8 and so on,
and eventually, observing that 18 lots of 4 are 72 we get to
69, 70, 71, 72, and then
73, 74
So, the 74th term is b)
As the repeating pattern has 4 pieces we consider multiples of 4
i.e. 4n
When n = 18, we have 4n = 72
so, 18 complete groups take us to the start.
Then, shape 73 is A and shape 74 is B
or, shape B appears in multiples of 2, shape C in multiples of 3 and shape D in multiples of 4
74 is not a multiple of 3 or 4, but is a multiple of 2
