Part 2 is asking for common difference. It can be deduced that it is a arithmetic sequence.
First term, T(1) = a = 10
Common difference = d

T(5):
10 + 4d = -14
4d = -24
d = -6

T(2) = 10 - 6 = 4
T(3) = 4 - 6 = -2
T(4) = -2 - 6 = -8

The three missing terms are 4, -2 and -8

1.) 10,10-d,10-2d,10-3d,10-4d. 10 -4d = -14,  d = (1/4)(10+14) = 6. Missing 
terms are 4,-2,-8. 2.) Common difference is d = 6.

I will assume that we have an arithmetic series with 1st term 10, 5th term -14 and common difference d

nth term is 10 + (n - 1)d

so, 5th term is 10 + 4d = -14

so, terms are: 10, 4, -2, -8, -14,....
