They should be careful because it contains ideas inspired by paganism and witchcraft.

and learning some hard & relevant lessons about real life.

Why would they not? Because the future depicted in the franchise is not the same as the Book of Revelation?  If you want to be a true Christian, live the example provided by the life of Christ. Read the red words in the gospels, and live by them. Most of the prohibitions given to evangelical Christians are political, not biblical. So, read the words of Christ and be guided by His example.
