In what way is love greater than faith and hope? When the things hoped for  become a reality and the assured expectation of them is realized, aspects of faith and hope come to an end. Heb. 11:1 Love is greater than faith and hope in that it remains forever.

Although faith is essential, aspects of this quality will pass away when we see the fulfillment of God’s promises and experience the reality of our Christian hope.

But the need to grow in love for God and for our neighbor will never cease. Thus, Paul could write: “Now, however, these three remain: faith, hope, love; but the greatest of these is love.”  1 Cor. 13:13

In heaven, love is forever.  Faith (believing) and hope (the guarantee of what will be) are not needed in heaven since the believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, at that point, is already in heaven.  Here is the truth:  Death leads to immediate heaven or hell. The only way to have eternal life, the only way to be in heaven and avoid hell, is by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ (John 6:47).  It is that simple and that easy.  It is too late to be saved after death.  Jesus is God and Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood to pay for all of our sins in full, and then Jesus was buried, and then Jesus resurrected from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).  The Lord Jesus Christ paid for our sins with His death and blood.  Nothing else pays for our sins, not works from us or anything else.  You cannot add any works to getting into heaven (Romans 4:5).

Faith is believeth and hope is having a beliefs that something will come to pass but love means so much more because we have feelings of love and good for one another love covers a multitude of sins. Thanks for the question.

It was part of the ongoing attempt by Saul of Tarsus to hijack the movement begun by Yeshua bar Yosef. he had his orders from the Roman Empire, as Yeshua was attempting to remove the Romans from Israel.

Thumb this down if you agree.

Anyone who manages to exit this world with at least a modicum of charity (love) remaining in their soul is not likely to experience eternal damnation.

Faith is essential, however, aspects of this quality will pass away when we see the fulfillment of God’s promises and experience the reality of our Christian hope. The need to grow in love for God and for our neighbor will never cease.  Paul could write: “Now, however, these three remain: faith, hope, love; but the greatest of these is love.”—1 Cor. 13:13. Love embraces many essential Christian qualities, including faith. “Love,” the Bible states, “believes all things.” It has faith in the things God has said in his Word of truth.—1 Cor. 13:4, 7.  Love is greater than faith and hope in that it remains forever.

Just what it says.   By the way, the Bible also says that love covers a multitude of sins.

1 Corinthians 13:13 means the same thing in the bible,
as it means when it is not in the bible: NOT TOO DAMN MUCH.
