No. That is not God's plan. God's plan is and was from the beginning for mankind to live forever. However, when Adam's sin allowed sin and death to enter into the world when he bowed his knee to the will of Satan thereby handing all creation including mankind over into the wicked hands of Satan the devil. So sin is now in this world and the wages of sin is death. But the good news is, life in this sinful world is temporary. We all should desire and thrive to ultimately be with God in a world without sin. Its incumbent on us all to teach our children how they should live, and they will remember it all their life. (Proverbs 22:6)
God never brings about the evil and suffering we see in the world. God will eliminate suffering. “Death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.”—Revelation 21:4.
What did they die of? Murder? Drug abuse? If so, they died as a result of sin, which is never God's plan. Or, they may have developed a disease. We live in a natural world, and are subject to the laws of nature.
God has billions of Sons and these universes are their playground/Laboratory. With the Father's permission, they were attempting to build their own Heaven. They caused this messed up world from the start by not following instructions. Humans are the product of God's Sons. This world is in constant state of chaos and catastrophe; Sometime the Lord doesn't intervene. God doesn't intend this world to be our home, but He does require our maximum effort while we are here. We are part of a bigger picture.
As an atheist, I point to why a timeless omnipotent entity invented death at all, and how it happens in so many ways, and that the Sun and Earth itself are on a timeline to loss of living things in this solar system. You do not need to be so specific.
