The word "days" doesn't mean 24-hour periods, unless we are specifically speaking of Earth. No-where else in the universe does a day equal 24 hours. "Day" in the general sense just means "a period of time", and what we know of the universe does include 7 broad periods of time when different aspects of the universe came into existence.
If you look at the night sky and say “there are like a thousand stars up there”, we know you mean (you think there are a lot up there). You didn’t have to get mathematically accurate to tell us what you mean. The Bible writers were not trying to be mathematically accurate

Exodus 20:11 KJV — For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
Read it again. He created it in 6 days and rested on the seventh.
Study it. The "day" mentioned in the Bible is as a thousand years... Or something like that.
Use a little logic... One day is one rotation of the planet. Right?
How could there be "On the first day" if there was no Heavens and the EARTH?
A human day is much different than one of God's days.
The fact of the matter: God The Lord Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior it took 6 days to create the heaven and the earth by speaking and on the 7th day God rested from all of his work, The wedding of Cana is a picture of God The Lord Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior creating the heaven and the earth by speaking, the 6 stone jars are the 6 days of creation that it took God The Lord Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior to create the heaven and the earth by speaking, the water in the 6 stone jars is the gospel that is to be sent out throughout the entire world so that some might become saved, the wine in the 6 stone jars is the new and everlasting covenant of God holy word the bible only. It was not billion of years are heaven and earth are exactly from creation 13,032 years when April came around because April was the first month of the Jewish calendar, it goes by the patriarchs of God holy word the bible only.

The real contradiction is, not between science and the Bible, but between science and the opinions of Christian Fundamentalists. Some of these groups falsely assert that according to the Bible, all physical creation was produced in six 24-hour days approximately 10,000 years ago.
The Bible, however, does not support such a conclusion. If it did, then many scientific discoveries over the past one hundred years would indeed discredit the Bible. A careful study of the Bible text reveals no conflict with established scientific facts.
Geologists estimate that the earth is 4 billion years old, and astronomers calculate that the universe may be as much as 15 billion years old. Do these findings—or their potential future refinements—contradict Genesis 1:1? No. The Bible does not specify the actual age of “the heavens and the earth.” Science is not at odds with the Biblical text.
What about the length of the creative days? Were they literally 24 hours long? Some claim that because Moses—the writer of Genesis—later referred to the day that followed the six creative days as a model for the weekly Sabbath, each of the creative days must be literally 24 hours long. (Exodus 20:11) Does the wording of Genesis support this conclusion?
No, it does not. The fact is that the Hebrew word translated “day” can mean various lengths of time, not just a 24-hour period. For example, when summarizing God’s creative work, Moses refers to all six creative days as one day. (Genesis 2:4) In addition, on the first creative day, “God began calling the light Day, but the darkness he called Night.” (Genesis 1:5) Here, only a portion of a 24-hour period is defined by the term “day.” Certainly, there is no basis in Scripture for arbitrarily stating that each creative day was 24 hours long.
How long, then, were the creative days? The Bible does not say; however, the wording of Genesis chapters 1 and 2 indicates that considerable lengths of time were involved.
"For He spoke and it came to be; He commanded and it stood fast." Psalm 33:9, 6.
The first verse of Genesis 1 says; In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. God did not give us a time line or say how long he took in creating the universe and the earth. Just that He created them in the beginning. The six creative days were for preparing the earth for life and creating the life on the earth. We do not know the length of each creative day in God's time.
The one that the Bible says, is the one that is accurate. (Genesis 1:31) This is the reason we must study the written word of God for ourselves with the help of the Holy Spirit, not relying solely on what any man says.
